Our ‘deck your desks’ Christmas decorating contest has been held for the second consecutive year. With no limit on what they could do and a £30 budget to go shopping, each team chose a suitable festive theme and enthusiastically decorated their workspace in an attempt to impress our judging panel. After much deliberation, Mark’s team came first, Eleanor’s second and Jason’s third. We're doing our bit to give back to those less fortunate than ourselves this Christmastime. Our voluntary charity committee has picked four charities, namely Wood Street Mission, Redcar Area Food Bank, Whitechapel Centre and Whitehawk Food Bank for which we're busy collecting food, toiletries and gifts in the run up to Christmas. We donated money to the tune of £652.90, generated by holding our very own Great Quill Bake Off, running a Mario Kart Tournament, having teas and coffees made for us by the Fabulous Brew Boys Julian Bryan (pictured here in his maid's hat) and Tom Wormald, taking part in an online duck race, hosting our Big Fat Quiz and selling tickets for our popular raffle.
