40th birthday celebrations
19th January marked our 40th birthday. The past four decades have taken us on an incredible journey from initial inception in 1978 supplying programmable calculators and early word processing programs which helped law firms overcome unnecessary repetitive chores to a multi-branch, full-service provider.
Reaching our ruby anniversary was cause for celebration of our 90 staff, 4 offices, legal software and outsourced service solutions, all of which have earned us a whole raft of awards and accolades along the way.
We’re extremely proud of every achievement, not least the fact that, even after all these years, we remain financially stable and privately owned by our senior leadership team. For organisations of our size and standing, this is a rare characteristic in today’s legal marketplace.
To mark the special occasion, we hosted a party for our employees, as can be seen from these photographs. Our people have, after all, contributed to our success more than anything else. The party was a great moment to thank the staff new and old for their contributions to making Quill what it is today.
Our MD, Julian Bryan, comments: “We commemorated our 40 years with a party to which our entire workforce was invited. We’ve been supplying practice management and legal accounts software for 40 years, outsourced cashiering and payroll services for half that time, and yet many of our staff weren’t even born when we first started operating!
“We’ve got a vibrant, young team behind us with combined vast knowledge and expertise in the legal sector. In business, it’s vital to find people you can count on in order to thrive. That’s exactly what we’ve got. Our birthday was a fantastic opportunity to thank everyone at Quill for being a pivotal part of our collective experience, reflect on how far we’ve come, look forward to our future plans and celebrate all-things Quill.
