Please support our Quillathlon fundraiser
After 20 days of hard physical work, 7940 miles and £1180 pledged (so far!) for Cancer Research UK, our Quillathlon charity fundraiser drew to a close on Friday; fittingly on the day of Macmillan Cancer Support World's Biggest Coffee Morning event.
We're still asking for donations so please submit funds here.
In case you haven't yet heard of our Quillathlon, the premise was to walk, run, cycle and swim (hence a combination of "Quill" and "triathlon" in the name) virtually from our Manchester head office to our furthest-away client; this being Falklands Legal in the Falkland Islands.
The ambitious challenge was undertaken to raise money for our charity of the year. Our entire workforce has been involved by tracking mileage both outside and inside the office (we've been using treadmills and exercise bikes, you see) as well as asking for donations.
Falklands Legal has been backing our cause too. Mark Neves, Legal Practitioner at Falklands Legal, comments: "Both myself and the team are delighted to have been involved in Quill's big charity event in a virtual way. We've been keeping a close eye on both their progress and donations.

None of us has to think very long or very far through our network of friends and relatives to zone in on loved ones who’ve been ill with cancer. The Quill team is no exception and we’ve been saddened to see colleagues or their family members undergo treatment and surgery in recent months.
That’s why our charity committee has decided to do something different to raise awareness and money for Cancer Research UK. Clients and suppliers are very much part of the Quill community whom we treat with the same warm relationships as our own employees. Everyone is being kindly asked to make a donation, big or small, for this important charity. Every penny counts.
