Charity Easter eggstravaganza

Posted: 20th March, 2019

We've got a cracking line up of charitable giving events this Easter. Not only are we collecting chocolate eggs for each regional office to distribute to worthy causes - namely St Ann's Hospice, Alder Hey Children's Hospital and Eva Women's Aid - we're also going the eggs-tra mile by hosting a 'guess how many eggs are in the jar' contest.

For our egg collection, employees and local businesses are donating eggs which we'll gather up and deliver to our three chosen charities in time for Easter weekend. Our chocolate gifts will provide a sweet treat to people affected by life-limiting illnesses, poorly children in hospital, and homeless women and children as a result of domestic abuse respectively.

Whilst Easter eggs are something most families take for granted, those who are vulnerable and disadvantaged don't have this small luxury. We're pleased to bring some joy to those less fortunate than ourselves in our community.

For our competition, we've teamed up with Tesco and Co-op to create a giant jar of assorted mini chocolate eggs. Our employees are invited to take part for £2 a go. As we're currently holding our quarterly 'News, Views & Eats' staff briefings, this presents an ideal opportunity for everyone to enter. The winner takes all and there are prizes for runner ups who guess closest to the number of eggs too. Collected monies will be shared equally between these three charities.

Keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter pages for further updates in the run up to Easter.
