One thing the coronavirus pandemic has highlighted is the importance of uniting as communities to support those less fortunate than ourselves. With many fundraising activities postponed for the foreseeable future, as dictated by government lockdown measures, charities are experiencing hard times and reaching out for pledges to overcome the financial impact of COVID-19. Action for Children got our vote as charity of the year for 2020-21 because of the incredible help they give to the youngest and most vulnerable in our society. Money raised by Quill throughout the year will enable the charity to continue providing its vital practical and emotional care and support services to children and young people.

In light of yesterday’s government statements, all Quill staff have reverted to a working-from-home model for the foreseeable future. We expect to operate as close to normal as possible by continuing to process your payroll to agreed SLAs.

As a Best Companies-accredited business, we place great importance on workplace engagement and recognise the role our staff play in our success. That's why we're taking part in this Friday's Best Companies Day. It's more than just a party. It's a key part of our ongoing engagement initiatives. There'll be safari-inspired cupcakes, cocktails, mocktails and lunch, with face painting and bush tucker trail activities to celebrate our tribe.

Do we have big mouths or big heads at Quill? Maybe! One thing we definitely can be accused of having is big hearts as evidenced by pledging over £3,500 to various charities plus donating bucket loads of gifts in 2019. And we've got plenty more fundraising activities in the pipeline for 2020.

We will be closed for Christmas at 1pm on Tuesday 24th December 2019 and will re-open at 9am on Thursday 2nd January 2020. Our servers and network infrastructure will be constantly monitored throughout the festive period. Season's greetings from all of us at Quill!

Our Liverpool team has relocated to bigger premises in the Liverpool Innovation Park. By moving, not only have we gained the extra room needed for our expanding team, we’ve also acquired a more contemporary environment and enhanced facilities for staff, clients and visitors alike.

After 20 days of hard physical work, 7940 miles and £1180 pledged (so far!) for Cancer Research UK, our Quillathlon fundraiser drew to a close on Friday; fittingly on the day of Macmillan Cancer Support World's Biggest Coffee Morning event. We're still asking for donations so please submit funds here.
